2023…the year of heartbreak. This year was far beyond the heartbreak of a relationship…it was heartbreak from things that we never thought would happen to us.
2023 was the year where unexpected traumas and losses showed up as an uninvited guest that refused to leave.
2023 was the most difficult financial year many have seen in a long time.
In some ways, 2023 felt bipolar because there were also some amazing highs, new accomplishments, unforgettable experiences and new understandings.
I stopped by to let you know 3 things:
Don’t throw 2023 away just yet. God is not bound by our time. There are still a few amazing surprises in store for you by 12.28.23. Expect it.
The thought of 2024 has my stomach doing flips because things are going to happen so beautifully and so fast, that the pain of 2023 will soon be a distant memory.
Amos 9:13-15 MSG
13-15 “Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree.
“Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel:
“They’ll rebuild their ruined cities. They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine. They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables. And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land. They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them.”
God, your God, says so.
3. Great promises will be fulfilled in 2024. Stability in finances will be restored, even in the midst of a questionable economy.
Know that everything that you survived in 2023 was the shaping and pruning for the propel of 2024.
